That's why I'm almost certain that the clearcasting change is deliberate – they have essentially made the fight shorter, so it shouldn't be as much of a strain on the healers.

I was pretty sure they would fix the Fel Mana potions thing too, I just needed someone to confirm.

Yep, it's all true. We confirmed last night that the Fel Mana Potions don't work, so everyone was taking Mighty Shadow Protection Potions.

However his HP and the HP of the Animus have been nerfed so much that we managed to kill him on our 3rd attempt using 6 healers (2 priests, 2 shamans, 2 druids).

Everything I can find about this issue points to it being an intended change, but I can't find an official word on it – or even on the fact that his health has been lowered and the Animus spawns after fewer vapors.

The fact that his health has been nerfed and the Animus spawns sooner says to me that the clearcasting nerf is deliberate, but I can't find actual confirmation, so I've edited the post to more speculative, and to add a disclaimer that we still haven't had official word on it.

Making announcements without a Blue post is poor, and I have to stop doing it.

I need to set up some kind of mini electro-shock mechanism anytime I mindlessly post something without official confirmation.

I'm still quite sure it's intended, though.
