Well, 50 $ is a lot for waking up at 6:30 on a weekend – this way, you get to sleep late and all news will be ready when you wake up.

I chose to skip it, as well, but because of the very practical reason that my in-laws are visiting this weekend, so I wouldnt get to watch it anyway, and I know I will be able to pick up the big announcements with those willing and able to go or stream and wanting to share them with the rest of us.

I think that if I had to get up at 6:30 AM to watch it, I would probably skip it, too. I was originally planning to go in person, but I wasn't able to get tickets… so my two options were: buy streaming version, or mope & cry around the house all weekend about how everyone was having fun but me. I think I chose wisely. lol.

I really wanted to be able to do that, I'm not a big fan of recycling the news sites' content and spitting it out on my own blog – but around Blizzcon time with huge announcements, it's probably a necessary evil. There isn't much choice.

I wanted to be able to grab the info for myself, not wait for transcripts, that's all.

But it's not the end of the world. I'll just have to accept second-hand news like everyone else who will be refreshing the news sites frantically…

Once upon a time I would have paid $50 for the pet, but I can't justify it at the moment – trying really hard to get things in order, pay off my car, and save for my house

I'm watching the streaming part (planning on all day events, and I'm east coast, so I'm 3 hours ahead!).

I'll be posting updates on my blog for any druid-related news as much as the streaming content lets me…

Honestly, in the end, I spent $40 for a pet…
