Cog – that’s what I was planning to do. It’s just annoying to have to do it :/

Cassandri: I noticed that about the heading too – I’ll have to fix it up later. Lots of little tweaks to do, but mostly working.

My host has been having a lot of problems this week – very bad timing for the launch of the site – hopefully they get it sorted soon. It seems better today.

I love your new site. I think your host might still be a bit iffy because I tried to comment on this article yesterday and lost the connection and my comment

Great to see that you haven’t completely lost the look of the original TBJ and I too love the new banner.

I’ve updated our link to your site and feed on our Blogroll.

I’m using Firefox and the only thing that looks a little off is the H3 when they turn onto a second line like “12 Responses to “Welcome to the new Tree Bark Jacket!”. The second line is overlapping the first. Perhaps try:

H3 {line-height:110%}

And just try some values until it looks right.

There’s a way to make stylesheets like the styles_ie.css you did before, that only IE6 (or any specific version of IE) will include.

That way you can make something like a styles_ie6.css and make IE6-specific fixes in there. The whole process is a bit messy (there are several alternate ways of doing it), but that’s probably the most organizationally ‘clean’ way.

Lots of people have asked me about the header. The original image came as part of the theme, and I couldn’t pass it up. A tree and a moon? How perfect!

It was a lot darker though, and had some extra things that I didn’t want – like a couple of hot air balloons in the sky, etc.

I lightened and softened it to fit with the browns I wanted for the background, took out the balloons, and obviously added in the enormous blue-eyed tree…

I do love a good Photoshop project.

Looks as though avatars still aren’t working (unless you’re signed into WP, probably). I’ll have to look into that.
