Wild Growth bug now fixed
While nothing has been announced, druids are reporting that the WG bug has finally been fixed.
If the above is true, self-casting should now work, even when your target is dead or out of range. While this is obviously kinda illogical, it was still annoying when it wouldn’t fire. It still occasionally tripped me up. It’s good to have it fixed without having to use canceltarget macros.
Please let me know if you run into any further troubles with it, as there hasn’t been any official announcement that the bug has been fixed.

Thats fantastic news although I havent had a chance to raid yet since the patch and thats where i noticed it most.
The best thing about the patch for me was blizzard getting rid of the Idol of flaring growth animation that looked like rejuv:)

thank you so so much for this bit of news!
I spent a long time thinking there was something wrong with my UI when WG wouldn’t cast if I had accidentaly acquired a target – Razorscale and her fireballs for example. Was very pleased when I found out it wasn’t just me, and even more pleased now I know it’s fixed!

Hmm, will test but I doubt it’s completely fixed
I went to brewfest yesterday and had a mob in the general pub selected – kept getting “not in line of sight” when trying to cast WG via Grid. At least I think it was yesterday evening. Hopefully it wasn’t and all is fixed

I just targetted a raid member that was at the start of Ulduar (while we were standing at the Shattered Walkway) and it threw WG on me

Further testing:
Seems to be fine when targetting someone who is out of range, but not when the target is dead.
The out of range issue was the more annoying part of the bug, though.
Will report if I hear more

Yay, but yeah it still seems to bug when the target is dead / dies just before cast. Range is definitely fixed tho.

I’ll need to test this again, but I seem to recall having the problem during a heroic Gundrak run last night. Of course it might have been hotfixed after my run.

Yeah, the out of range bug was the worst of it.
Though, I still haven’t gotten rid of my /canceltarget macro.
