Restoration

- Rejuvenation: The base duration on all ranks of this spell is now 15 seconds.
- Tranquility: The cooldown on this spell has been reduced to 8 minutes, down from 10 minutes.

- Glyph of Rapid Rejuvenation: This glyph allows for the druid’s haste to reduce the time between the periodic healing effects of Rejuvenation.
- Idol of Flaring Growth: Now has a detailed combat log tooltip.
- Nightsong Regalia Set: The bonus to Rejuvenation from this set will now work properly with the Idol of Rejuvenation equipped. In addition, the instant heal provided now has a correct combat log tooltip.
- Rejuvenation: Druids will no longer get a more powerful spell error message when attempting to overwrite a Rejuvenation they cast.
Balance
- Nature’s Grace: The tooltip now correctly indicates that it will not be activated from periodic spell critical strikes.
- Force of Nature: Health on the treants has been increased.
- Pet avoidance (passive): Now reduces the damage your pets take from area-of-effect damage by 90%, but no longer applies to area-of-effect damage caused by other players.
- Idol of Lunar Fury: Now has a detailed Combat log tooltip.
- Glyph of Hurricane: Now modifies the spell tooltip on Hurricane to indicate the spell also applies a movement slowing effect.
- Hurricane: When cast from Bear Form, Cat Form, or Dire Bear Form, this spell will now channel properly instead of stopping the channel as soon as the shapeshift is cancelled.
Feral
- Prowl: This ability no longer has multiple ranks and penalizes movement speed by 30%.
- Predatory Strikes: The Predatory Swiftness buff from this talent now has an 8-second duration.
- Idol of The Corruptor: Now has a detailed Combat log tooltip.
- Warmth of Forgiveness: Now grants mana properly to druids in Bear Form, Cat Form, and Dire Bear Form.

My name is Emma and I live in Australia. I’ve been gaming on and off since I was about 11. I won’t tell you exactly how long ago that was, let’s just say long enough.

You forgot the most important one.
In 5 man dungeons formed with the new LFG tool, druids will no longer be allowed to roll need on cloth gear.
Druids will be allowed to roll greed on cloth as every other class. If no one in the group rolls need, the item is rolled for between all the people who rolled greed AND who rolled disenchant. If someone wins an item with disenchant, it is automatically disenchanted.
Good luck getting a cloth upgrade for resto or moonkin. It will most of the time be auto-sharded.

Yeah that is going to be incredibly frustrating for leveling druids, since early on almost all of the gear with healing stats is cloth

do you think druids should gem spellpower/haste or straight haste for yellow gem slots

Oh what? I must have missed that in the patch notes! No cloth for us? Booo

It’s only the case when you use the cross-server LFG system.
When in this system, you are restricted from rolling Need on armor that is outside your normal armor type. You can still roll Greed, but of course the risk is that someone else will win the item (or it will be auto-DEd), and in cross-server groups, you cannot trade items.
If there’s a cloth item that you want from a particular dungeon, you’ll either need to make the group aware of it to begin with, and ask them if they will pass to you (providing there’s not a cloth wearer who wants it, of course), or you’ll need to simply do dungeons with people from your own server, the traditional way – which *will* allow you to roll Need on cloth, and *will* allow people to trade you items if you say, “wait, that’s an upgrade for me – do you mind if I take it?”
It’s still kinda crummy – but it’s not the end of the world. It only applies for cross-server groups, not all groups.
Morphingtime: it depends on how low your haste is, I suppose. Some druids are choosing to go with full CF and no gems. Others are taking CF and using sp/haste gems to top up their haste. Some are skipping CF and putting in full haste gems.
Personally, I may use some sp/haste gems in yellow slots.. but I’m not going to worry about it too much just yet. I’ll wait and see if I can grab a couple more haste items, then consider my gems.

It’s the case as soon as you have random members in your group.
If you go with 4 friends, that’s no problem. Otherwise this is enforced.
> and in cross-server groups, you cannot trade items.
You can trade BoP items that dropped and conjured items (food, HS).
But that doesn’t help if the item is auto-sharded. Or if the winner
is retarded.

Or you could cure cancer. Would probably be easier anyway… -.-

If I would have 4 friends to run dungeons together with me I couldn’t
care less about this change.

I was under the impression that you *couldn’t* trade BOP items or anything else (other than food etc), which is why they put the loot system in place – because nobody would be able to trade.
If you can trade gear, that helps a little – because then at least you can ask the group beforehand to consider passing cloth upgrades to you, rather than opting to shard them.
If I would have 4 friends to run dungeons together with me I couldn’t care less about this change.
You don’t need to find 4 friends, you just have to do what many people still do – advertise in General/Trade (etc) to fill your group, without using the LFG tool. It may not be optimal for you, but if there are a few cloth pieces that you want, there’s the option.
Is it particularly difficult to fill groups on your server?

We’ll see how easy it will be to fill groups w/out this system in a few months.
I think it will be impossible to find 5 people the classic way some months down the road.

I think people will still use the old way. Some people really don’t like change – they’ll continue to just ask in Trade for groups, rather than using LFG.
Certainly the pool might be smaller, but it will still happen.
