I hate the long run back after wipe. I think rez sickness is stupid. Some new change up coming the expansion are welcomed and longed for. Come'on, ever die in BRD and have to walk back to the instance.. UGH. HATE IT. Even worse is run to the spot you left off in there. Too massive.

As a non-self rezzing healer I took it upon myself to commit Mara portals to memory. Thank goodness for kitty stealth.

Also, if you happen to enter wrong portal, as long as you are rezzed you can reenter correct dungeon by clicking green eye on minimap (sometimes addons icons obscure it) "teleport to dungeon".

Why don't Blizz implement a "Release to instance start" feature after the first boss has been defeated, kind of like a check point. Then again this would probably make it easier in some of the shorter instances to save a group wipe.... but again would this be so bad?

It would certainly resolve the massive treks back to some of the lowbie instances from a graveyard at least. Maybe this could be something that would only be active as you level.

I did BRD through LFD the other day... when one of our DPS left us at the Grim Guzzler we 4-manned the rest of it rather than get someone new to try and find us. Successfully, I might add! The most fun I've had in ages - far better than doing overpowered heroics!

I've had this exact same problem. I've been leveling a priest almost exclusively through random dungeons and I've seen this happen over and over. I am alliance so the problem was first with Ragefire Chasm. Gnomer was just horrible, if a wipe happened the group would either disband or spend an hour trying to find the instance again. Mara is another pretty bad one, Dire Maul is pretty horrible as well.

The problem I'm seeing is that nobody has done a lot of these instances ever. I've seen soooo many comments of "I've never been here" to Gnomer, Mara, DM: East/West, that I'm kind of shocked.

Just last night I got into a group for the waterfall area of Mara. I winced as I saw the Mara loading screen initially and could only pray we didn't wipe. My last Mara group disbanded after fifteen minutes of aimless running around looking for the orange entrance portal after a wipe to the oozes.

We did wipe once and while it took me another fifteen minutes of wandering I accidentally managed to find the entrance but still, running around grasping for the zone portal took longer than actually running the instance.

Wailing Caverns is really super frustrating. It's long, confusing, and none of the rest of my group has any clue what they are doing. I was going to make an "OMG Wailing Caverns" post, but it looks like you beat me to it, lol.

Goo baby priest alts!

I second and third this. Being able to do the other faction's dungeons is great, until you run into the pressing problem of 'where the hell is the rest of the group'. I also have a baby priest that's only doing dungeons atm, and surprisingly WC went fine every time. I don't know if I simply ran into Horde rerolls or everyone had been doing it for ages through LFG, but they were smooth as hell. Until, of course, I realized that the 2 quests someone had shared have to be returned at the entrance and my priest is in Darnassus... Odds are I'll never get to turn them in, since making that trek is nowehere near my top fun activities.

I think the only truly viable solution is the simplest one: instance maps (including the mazes in the beginning - I'm looking at you, DM and ST). Then it shouldn't be any problem for the new players or for the directionally-challenged like myself.

Please, Blizzard, instance maps. I know we have AtlasMaps, but figuring out *where* you are and where to go is just a notch less annoying than not knowing at all.
