Where I’m heading
May 3rd
Comments are off because this was not written to fish for encouragement or praise or “don’t go”s. —————————— I’m teetering. Teetering on the edge of going casual. Or quitting. Or taking a break that works for a while but then I come back later but it’s not the same so I quit again. I really
Resto druid bites: Living Seed unlinked, Waffles
Mar 16th
Just a short update with a couple of tidbits: 1. Living Seed is to be unlinked from Efflorescence, finally. RIP Living Seed. Devs – please consider a redesign – this ability will simply gather dust now. (Also, could you please let us know whether your intent is for Tranquility to be “the” cooldown that you
Why do you blog? Why do you subscribe to blogs?
Jan 26th
A comment against my previous post got me thinking about why we blog, and what we like in a blog (and perhaps what turns us off). This blog is not a business; it generates zero revenue, and therefore I have no financial motivation to worry about optimising it to catch as much traffic and business
Pink knickers part 2: Here are my own numbers

Ok, Mr not-so-anonotroll, you want analysis? I’ll analyse your face off. First, let me say that I fully expect a bunch of troll comments telling me that I’m getting worked up over nothing, I’ve got too much time on my hands, I’m blowing things out of proportion. Lol umad? Nah, I just like analysing stuff,
Cataclysm guides: Gimme gimme!
Dec 3rd
I’ve created a placeholder page for my Cataclysm guide.
As I mentioned in a post a little while ago, I don’t want people to come here, click on my Cataclysm Guide, and find a blank page or a “coming soon” sign. I’m going to use the space for other resto guide links, so that if I can’t provide the info myself for a few weeks, the least I can do is direct people to information elsewhere.
So once again – if you have a guide, send it in – now is the best time to do it, because in a few short days, Cataclysm will be here and people will need the info! [...]

Keeping your readers happy: Mobilising your blog
Oct 25th
I had no idea that my enormous walls of text were causing issues for mobile users.
And why would I? I never browse on my mobile (nor do I want to start – I don’t need another avenue to enable my net addiction). I never even think about doing it. My stuff is designed for and aimed at good old desktop computer users, preferably with a monitor larger than 15″ (sorry notebook users), and I didn’t even give mobile users a thought.
Until I started getting pleas on Twitter to PLEASE do something to make reading TBJ on the run a little less painful.
Audio post: straightening something out
Oct 10th
This is an audio post in response to one that was written about me and my recent post about offensive language. I felt that it misrepresented me and was presented in a snarky, mocking tone, which was unfair. I had closed off the original conversation because I felt that it had run its course, but also because I was constantly wondering if there were new responses/arguments, and it was just getting to the point that I needed to let it go. [...]
Thank you
Oct 8th
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who stopped by to read this week. Thank you to all of you who linked my article on Facebook, in your journals, in other communities. Thank you everyone who put it on their guild forums. Thanks for posting it (bravely!!!!) on the official forums. Thanks for

My name is Emma and I live in Australia. I’ve been gaming on and off since I was about 11. I won’t tell you exactly how long ago that was, let’s just say long enough.
